Jeff
has nearly thirty years experience in underground and opencut
mining including significant periods in management and planning.
His work experience includes coal, minerals, iron ore and
alluvial gold. Project and development work has included managing
new mine projects and tender preparation work for major domestic
coal projects in Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia
and Tasmania.
More recently Jeff’s work has included mine optimisation
and feasibility studies for opencut coal mines in Queensland
and New South Wales. Ongoing long term planning work has been
undertaken for Lemington Mine including assistance with the
Business Plan justification of a P&H 4100A shovel and
the introduction of South Lemington.
Jeff

undertaken technical reviews of other Indonesia coal mines
to establish their suitability to supply coal to the proposed
Hin Krut power station in Thailand.
Project
management experience has involved mining, environmental and
infrastructure studies undertaken on a total project basis
and involving coordinating the input of multi-disciplined
project teams. These studies required significant government
contact at all levels to obtain relevant regulatory approvals.
